Introduction
The AUA is a leader in providing quality, evidence-based urologic education. Whether you are interested in hosting a private AUA course for your practice or organization—or you want to submit a course for the AUA Annual Meeting, the following resources will help you with your education planning.
Overview
The AUA has been accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) since 1977.
The ACCME is accountable to the public for setting and maintaining accreditation requirements that are designed to ensure that CME accredited within the ACCME system is based on valid content, is free from commercial influence or bias, and contributes to the quality and safety of health care.

Important information for CME outside of AUA
Due to our transition to a new and improved site for online services for our members, the feature of adding CME activity from outside AUA entities are no longer available. We understand that this change is an adjustment, but the good news is that we are working toward integrating our credit reporting data into a new, centralized system called CME Passport. This system, designed by the ACCME in collaboration with state medical boards, will allow for physicians to view all of their credits and transcripts, regardless of CME provider, in order to track and manage their CME records all in one place. As this is a new system, not all CME providers’ data is fully integrated at this time but the AUA is working towards this goal and will advise members once achieved. CME Passport can be found by visiting https://cmepassport.org/.
